Our history
Our beginnings
The company began operating in 1995 when a young Ross Taylor took his hobby of buying and selling vehicles out into the real world. Initially operating two temperature regulated vans from the family farm in the Cambridgeshire Fens, Ross Taylor is now CEO of a complex collections and cross-docking logistics organisation with a fleet in excess of 240 vehicles and with storage capacity of 163,600 cubic metres.
From strength to strength
Buffaload Logistics has invested to build the largest independently owned double-deck trailer fleet in the UK.
This investment enables us to help you optimise your supply chain. High pallet capacity not only reduces road miles but also minimises vehicle requirements – which contribute to a CO2e emissions reduction of 40%.
As of April 2020 we have received 43 new Volvo tractor units into the fleet running on LNG fuel which reduces carbon emissions by a further 20%.

We have to act now
In partnership with Buffaload you can make your Chilled Delivery Network carbon neutral by ahead of government targets. At Buffaload we are on a mission to proceed with an environmentally responsible approach to Logistics and Cold Chain Supply. We have set up the UK’s first Carbon Neutral Network and we invite your business to join us.
Our planet is poised at the brink of a severe environmental crisis. Current environmental problems make us vulnerable to disasters and tragedies. If humans continue moving forward in such a harmful way towards the future, then there will be no future to consider.
We are officially in a state of climate emergency, with environmental problems piling up high around us. Unless we address the various issues prudently and seriously we are surely doomed for disaster.
