One of the measures we can take to reduce single use plastic waste is to carry re-useable water bottles, so Buffaload has purchased these multi-use water bottles for all our staff. In the UK 38.5 million plastic bottles are thrown away every day. We don’t want to be a part of that. Everyone coming to work at Buffaload is given one of these bottles on their induction day. Buffaload depots have cooled filtered water freely available
We’ve had insulated travel mugs for a while, which you can take to any cafe and they will fill them. In the UK we use 7 million disposable coffee cups every day. We don’t want to be part of that either! If you are a Buffaload colleague and you’ve lost your travel mug or water bottle please ask for a new one in the Media Office.

We can massively reduce how much single use plastic goes in the bin by using these instead of buying bottled water. You can also take the thermal cups to be filled when you go to a cafe.
